VERQUERDENKEN ZU SPÄTER STUNDE

This is an excerpt of a comic about the bookburnings in Germany.
Yes, I made two of those! This one is a personal approach where I muse about my family's history and for some reason Bibi Blocksberg.
It was published in the Magazine "ILMA: feuerfest" (Illustration Master Magazine of the HAW Hamburg) and exhibited at the Festival "Hamburg liest verbrannte Bücher" where I also gave a reading. It was also exhibited at the LUSTR illustration festival in Prag and at the HAW Hamburg Jahresausstellung.
The project "feuerfest – Hamburg liest verbrannte Bücher" won the Karl H. Ditze Förderpreis.
(Title: "Thinking outside the box at late hours" but also it's a pun about right wing politics. Let's not even try to translate that.)
